Coalition of Troop Support

     The Coalition of Troop Support is a group of local citizens and businesses who assist military people from Oregon and Washington and their families.
      Our coalition combined several previously independent groups who now combine efforts, reducing duplications.
      By combining efforts we hope to give citizens more easy-to-find ideas, and ways to lend a hand.

Upcoming Events

November 9th 2008:
The Veteran's Convoy.
Starting at the Clark County Fairgrounds and going down I-205 Veterans Hwy to Korean War Veterans Memorial off the Wilsonville exit. We will start forming at 7:30, will leave Clark County at noon - there will be BBQ waiting for everyone at the Korean War Memorial!! This is a great event !!

November 15th 2008
Holiday Stocking Packing Party
Help us pack 1,000 to 1,500 Holiday Stockings to send to our deployed Troops! Little reminders of home, while they are away from us and in harms way! It's a big job and we need everyones help to make it a success! Please save this date.

There are many other activities that the Coalition has our hand in as well. For instance we are championing the effort to preserve soldier's rights and improve military Legislative Policy. The Coalition is also proud to support the efforts of the Afghan-Iraqi War Memorial Fund. The fund has erected a monument honoring those who have given their lives in service to our nation while reminding our citizens of the fact that, "Freedom isn't free."
